The Return on Vinyl

vinylMusic has come on many forms of media. We’ve seen it on the Compact Disc (CD), vinyl, Cassette tape, Digital Audio File (Mp3) and 8 Track. Much of this media has come and gone as we always look for media that can bring us highest quality of sound and of course convenience. Now that we have moved towards digital downloading it has pushed out the CD. Which at one point was seen as bringing us the highest audio quality. But during this transition from the ashes the vinyl record market starting to pick up-stream.

The End of Digital Discs

68859-insert-cdThe golden age of the digital disc is long dead and the movie and music industry has been hit hard as much of their profits came from these sales.  Not to mention piracy was the extra kick in the balls. Yes, this includes Blue Rays as sales are low. Sorry fans, digital discs as we know it is a pretty much a dead technology. Blue Rays is pretty much the last hora for the digital disc era. We are even seeing retail stores scaling back on carrying discs. So when will we see the end of this technology? Let’s look back at the pain of having our digital information on this crappy form of media.

The 80’s Will Never Die

There are a number of all time favorite decades. One of them being the 80’s. The love for that decade has never really died actually. But in recent years some of the 80’s culture has just exploded. What is driving this phenomenon and why was it that good? In my opinion hell yea it was good! Well that’s coming from someone who enjoyed it as a little kid. I didn’t experience the party life or anything like that. I just experienced some of the movies, music, but I loved the cartoons and video games.
