When signing up for a sports league, any time of the year, you are usually aware of what you signed up for. That being either being recreational or competitive. Those who sign up for recreational are there to have fun. They don’t care who really wins as long as they have a good time. For those who like the challenge and drive to win. Maybe a competitive league is more for you. These leagues are for people who are not there just to have fun. Fun is winning and working hard for it. That’s what drives you. Its rare, but there are times were you join a recreational league and there is a group of people who decide to make it more competitive.
I have developed a bad habit recently. When I come home after work, I grab a quick bite to eat and flop down on the couch and turn on my TV. I have a fleet of TV shows that I must watch before I get on with anything else. That’s about 3 hours of my precious time wasted on fictional characters. In any case, this all started when I accidentally caught an episode of Criminal Minds that airs every weekday at 6PM (now at 5PM AND 6PM which is a blessing and a curse). I immediately developed an intellectual crush on agent Reid, agent Morgan makes my brain fire electrical signals into the most inappropriate places and Garcia is just plain hilarious. Of course, that’s all superficial.
What happened to the 3D revolution? Wasnt it supposed to be the biggest thing to enhance your movie and television experience? We got High Def, which as a nice step forward. But why not add 3D to it. Why not just add stupid 3D effects to make movies that are actually 2D even better. Reason 3D sucks and its dying just like it did back when it was first launched 30 something years ago.
Video games have been around us for a very long time. It’s not a fad that is going to come and go. Though many in the past believed so. Video games ia giant cash cow. As many of the big AAA games are able to bring in millions of dollars. Things seem to be look good if you are able to make a game that will sell millions of copies. To add the developers want their game to continue to sell over the months to come. Which will cover costs, generate profit and help the franchise grow.
