Crappy Video Game Movies

How many video game to movie adaptations can you say are actually good? None? Not many? Some?

It’s one thing gamers love to see is a movie based on their favorite video game. However, now a days it’s to scary and to risky as the film industry just butchers them as it hits the big screen. Everything is wrong. Almost as if it was done deliberately to just take your money. Because they know you will most likely see it. Seeing these bad movies are just witnessing one disaster after another. How much more can we take! At least now they are starting the get the super hero movies right. But what about video game movies? Are they doomed forever or will we ever see a light at the end of the tunnel of garbage? But let’s see what we’ve had to endure with.

3D utter Failure

What happened to the 3D revolution? Wasnt it supposed to be the biggest thing to enhance your movie and television experience? We got High Def, which as a nice step forward. But why not add 3D to it. Why not just add stupid 3D effects to make movies that are actually 2D even better. Reason 3D sucks and its dying just like it did back when it was first launched 30 something years ago.

Adulthood: Where Video Gaming Need Not Die

The past couple of nights have been routine. As soon as 10pm hit, I would boot up Tomb Raider on my XBOX and spend some quality time with Lara Croft for about three hours. (btw, if you play video games, you owe it to yourself to play this. I wasn’t a Tomb Raider fan before, I am now).

Where are all the Video Rental Stores?

If you were able to read my post about the end of the digital disc. Well this new post will fit right in.  Lets go back in time where a video rental store was at ever corner in your neighborhood. It used to be almost like a weekend tradition to sit at home and watch a movie. But instead of going to the local mall and paying full price for a movie. You could just quickly select a movie from the video store and leave.

No More Simple CRT TVs

I love the new HD TVs coming out today. They are lighter, sleeker, sharper, and capable of doing much more. I can’t even imagine them getting better than this. But I’m sure it will and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the next few years. But there is just one problem. If you get a TV now it will probably be obsolete in a year or 2. Why? Well because the industry is just pumping out TVs capable of doing so much more so quickly.
